Nickel Market Remains Quiet

Platts reported the nickel market has remained quiet in slow trading on the London Metal Exchange.

As quoted in the market news:

The European physical nickel market remained quiet this week with lower prices on the London Metal Exchange failing to see an improvement in physical buying.

Three-months nickel on LMEselect traded below $16,000/mt, hitting a fresh year low of $15,815/mt on Thursday afternoon.
