North American Nickel Inc. (TSXV:NAN) announced receiving the first set of results from metallurgical studies carried out at the Company’s Maniitsoq project. The study was carried out by SGS Canada Inc. and results confirmed the nickel mineralization at the project as being pentlandite.
Polymet Mining Corp. (TSX:POM) CFO Douglas Newby spoke with the Investing News Network during PDAC 2013 in Toronto. Polymet is a Canadian company with a large copper-nickel deposit, the NorthMet project, in Northeastern Minnesota. The company is currently at the permitting stage for its Minnesota project. Mr. Newby commented that obtaining permits can sometimes be challenging in the US, but once a project is fully permitted it is an advantageous jurisdiction.
Search Minerals Inc.(TSXV:SMY) announced the signing of a Heads of Agreement for a salt technology processing plant. The Company signed the agreement with PT ANTAM and will begin construction of the plant in Indonesia.
